i love that fall has a feeling, it’s not even the taste of smoke and barbeque in the air or the smell of wet dead leaves, it’s like a palpable feeling against your skin. it reminds me of renaissance festivals and cider barns and long highway drives to lawrence with the trees all sunset-shaded on the side of the road and cold night bonfires and guys i really fucking love autumn
I like how on Tumblr we all have lots of sass but in real life we can’t say hi without fucking up.
You know sweatpants?
In Australia we call them trakky-dacks.
im starting to think you aussies are just fucking with us
we actually aren’t and that’s the horrendous part.
i’m not attractive naturally i’m just decent looking at the right angle in the right light with the right makeup once in a while on a good day
things girls are made to feel ashamed of-
- having periods
- choosing what they want to wear on their body
- wanting to/not wanting to have sex
- putting boys in the ‘friendzone’
- standing up against misogyny
- ruining a boy’s life by telling the police that he raped her
- having hair on their body
- not appreciating catcalls
- not appreciating chivalry
- having control over their own fucking body
THOSE LITTLE MOMENTS IN BOOKS WHEN THEY ACTUALLY MAKE YOU FEEL SOMETHING, LIKE YOU SMILE OR KINDA GET SAD AND JUST REALLY FORGET YOURE READING SOMETHING MY FAVOURITE
Sometimes I’m internally like “How is that a trigger?, ” then I realize other people have different life experiences from me, they don’t owe me their story, and I move the fuck on.
